About the daily selection

Saints are selected by their documented customary feast date, using the same dates as our biography calendar. Where several saints share a date, one is featured and the others remain available above. Catholic feasts and commemorations are named as such; blesseds retain their proper title.

Today follows your device’s local date. This is a devotional feast-day guide, not a complete calendar for Mass. Sundays, solemnities, transfers, religious communities, and national calendars can affect liturgical observance. Source and calendar differences appear with the selected reading.

Biographies are served from our own library with their source attribution. Short supplementary introductions and reflections are original. Read our editorial approach.
