Delete your Life of the Saints account
Updated October 9, 2026
You can delete your app account from the app or request deletion by email. You do not need to reinstall the app to submit an email request.
Request deletion without the app
Email homesteadhatch@gmail.com with the subject Life of the Saints account deletion. Send it from the Google email address you used to sign in, and say that you want your Life of the Saints app account and associated account data deleted.
If you cannot use that email address, explain the issue when you contact us. We may need to verify account ownership before deleting it. Never send your Google password, verification codes, full payment-card details or purchase token.
We will process your request as soon as practicable after verifying ownership and confirm when account deletion is complete. If a technical issue delays deletion, we will explain the next steps.
Delete from the app
- Open Settings → Account & full access.
- Choose Delete app account and read the explanation.
- Confirm deletion and sign in again with the same Google account when asked to verify ownership.
What is deleted
- Your Life of the Saints Firebase sign-in record.
- Your app account and seven-day-preview record.
- Your subscription purchase associations and account-linked verification records held by our backend.
- Your account-linked rate-limit record.
Manage Google Play billing separately
Deleting the app account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. To stop future billing, cancel it in Google Play subscriptions. You can submit an account-deletion request even if you need help managing the subscription.
Account deletion permanently removes the purchase link used by Life of the Saints. A newly created app account cannot restore the deleted account's purchase association. Manage or cancel the subscription before deleting the account if you no longer want it.
What remains
Your Google account and Google's independent billing records remain. Local notes, saved items and devotional progress remain on your device; use the app's available deletion controls or clear the app's storage in Android settings to remove them.
Limited security and operational records follow the separate retention periods explained in our Android privacy notice: hashed duplicate-notification records expire after 30 days, default service logs are retained for 30 days, and required administrative audit logs for 400 days. Automatic expiry may not remove records immediately at the expiry time. Firebase authentication data may remain in provider live or backup systems for up to 180 days after deletion is initiated.
